My Journey into Reiki Healing
Hello, I’m Varsh, a Reiki Master Practitioner and founder of Reiki Love And Shine. I am a Certified Usui Holy Fire® III Reiki Master Practitioner based in Hall Green, Birmingham and a proud member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)
After completing my university studies, I began my career in the IT industry, working as an Application Support Engineer. For many years, I worked in a fast-paced environment, supporting technology, solving problems and helping others. This experience taught me patience, compassion and the importance of being there for people when they need support.
Like many women, I spent years working, caring and simply getting on with life. It wasn't until my 40s that my own journey into Reiki began. I felt a deep curiosity about healing, energy and the connection between the mind, body and spirit. I found myself drawn to exploring a deeper sense of balance, self-awareness and wellbeing.
Through my personal journey, I discovered the beauty of Reiki... a gentle and nurturing practice that creates space to pause, breathe, relax, reflect and reconnect with yourself. That experience changed something in me.
It inspired me to share Reiki with others and create Reiki Love And Shine; a safe, warm and nurturing space where you can step away from the busyness of life and simply be. A space where you don't have to be the strong one, the organiser or the person looking after everyone else. For a little while, you can simply pause, receive, and reconnect with your own inner light.
I feel incredibly honoured to have been featured in Women’s Health Magazine, sharing my love and passion for Reiki and holistic wellbeing. Alongside this, I am so grateful to have received the award for Holistic Therapist of the Year – Central England (West Midlands). These recognitions mean so much to me and inspire me to continue creating safe, nurturing spaces where women who spend so much time caring for others can reconnect with themselves, find calm, and feel lighter.
Why I created Reiki Love And Shine
Reiki Love And Shine was created as a safe and nurturing space where you can step away from the demands of everyday life and take time for yourself.
I understand that many sensitive and caring people spend years supporting others while forgetting to care for themselves. My intention is to offer a peaceful space where you can slow down, receive, restore balance and reconnect with your inner self.
My Approach Reiki
Every Reiki session is unique and guided by compassion, intuition and intention. I offer a calm and supportive space where you can relax deeply, slow down and allow yourself to receive.
My intention is not to tell you what you need, but to gently support you on your own healing journey, creating space for relaxation, self-awareness and reconnection.
Through Reiki, my hope is that you leave feeling lighter, calmer and more connected with yourself.
Deepening My Healing Journey
I believe healing is a journey of connection, with ourselves, our emotions, our energy and the world around us.
Alongside Reiki, I have continued to explore sacred energy practices that have deepened my understanding of intention, grounding and spiritual connection.
My journey has also led me to the beautiful practice of Chumpi healing, a sacred Andean-inspired energy healing tradition that works with the wisdom of sacred stones to support energetic balance, grounding and connection with the natural world.
Through working with Chumpi stones, I have developed a deeper appreciation for the relationship between energy, intention and the healing journey. I hold this practice with respect and gratitude, offering it as another pathway for those who feel called to explore deeper energetic alignment and connection.
Every healing journey is unique, and my intention is to create a safe and nurturing space where you can explore what supports your own wellbeing and inner balance.
